Białołęka Cultural Center

The premise was simple: to create an interior that would work equally well for individual instrument lessons, band rehearsals, educational classes, and basic recording sessions. To reconcile all these functions, a perfectly designed acoustic system was first and foremost required.

We initiated the modernization with insulation. The walls were lined with the multi-layer Nyquifix Pro system, which reduces sound transmission between rooms and allows for complete focus on the activities within the hall. The airtightness of the partitions, the reconstructed installation, and the vibration isolation solutions established a solid foundation for subsequent work.

The visual stage of the acoustic adaptation involved the installation of Fiber Color Hexagon panels. Modules of varying heights form a spatial composition that is both visually engaging and highly effective at absorbing sound across a wide frequency range. The interior retains the energy of the instruments while simultaneously reducing reverberation and enhancing sound clarity.

Visually, the space features diverse shades of grey, white, and bold accents of energetic red and deep blue. The hexagons imbue the entire space with dynamics and a distinct, almost rock-like character.

The Białołęka Cultural Center has been a space dedicated to education, art, and local initiatives for many years. It is a place where residents develop their passions and participate in workshops, concerts, and cultural events, with music being one of the most vital components of its daily activities.
