Not every studio needs to look like a spaceship. Marcin Patrzałek's new studio is defined by wood, fabrics, precise lighting, and meticulously engineered acoustics

The foundation of the new recording studio consists of black walls finished with the EcoWall Basic system. The matte surface absorbs unwanted sound reflections, shortening reverberation time and allowing you to hear precisely what needs to be heard. The acoustic drapes serve as a counterpoint to the walls. They introduce lightness to the interior, diffuse light, and add a much cozier character while effectively absorbing medium and high frequencies. Depending on requirements, they can also alter the room's acoustics, allowing it to be adapted for vocal recordings, instruments, or production work.

Perforated WoodenWall wood panels are another solution we decided to utilize in this acoustically demanding space. These walls eliminate excess reflections without stripping the interior of its vitality. Alongside them, decorative slats organize the entire composition, carefully emphasizing the room's proportions and, for a change, diffusing the sound.

The ceiling is an exceptionally critical aspect of recording studio design. Here, another acoustic layer is at work in the form of wooden and felt ceiling islands. WoodenCloud panels ensure even sound propagation and help maintain control over monitoring, but it is the presence of the black EcoCloud panels that guarantees the necessary control over reverberation where it is most needed. In a recording studio, the ceiling is a fully-fledged professional tool.

We completed the entire project with acoustic doors. Finished with eco-friendly PET material, they limit sound transmission between the studio and other rooms. In a recording environment where every detail matters, acoustic sealing is fundamental.

Integrated LED lighting highlights the geometry and allows for creating an ambiance tailored to current needs. Neutral white fosters concentration, while intense red or deep navy blue transforms the studio into a true stage.

Marcin Patrzałek proves that a guitar can sound like an entire orchestra. The Polish guitarist and composer, whose distinctive style combines fingerstyle technique, percussive beats, and classical music training, has been performing on international stages for years, gaining millions of views and recognition from audiences worldwide.
