Acoustic services

Acoustics are not visible, but they can be precisely measured. Acoustic measurements are the only way to turn the subjective feeling of "noise" into objective engineering data. With them, we verify the quality of building performance, diagnose the causes of problems in existing offices, and provide a solid foundation for designing effective solutions. This is the end of guessing – this is knowledge that helps save budget and nerves.

Until now, acoustics have relied on hearing and graphs that indicate how much noise penetrates, but rarely where. Traditional measurement methods (based on acoustic pressure) are prone to errors – reflections from walls or background noise can distort results, and a microphone won’t point out the hole in the wall.

An acoustic audit is your passport to a trouble-free building reception. It is a comprehensive technical document that combines analysis, calculations, simulations, and final measurement verification. Its purpose is simple: to provide you with a black-and-white confirmation that your project and the realized investment meet strict national regulations and the requirements of prestigious certifications such as BREEAM and LEED.

In acoustics, time is literally money. The decision to conduct an audit at an early stage of design is the simplest way to reduce investment costs. Why? Because moving a wall in the AutoCAD drawing costs nothing, but rebuilding a finished office where "everything is heard" does.

The building does not function in a vacuum. Noise coming from outside (e.g., from a busy road) can lower the value of your residential investment, and noise emitted by your establishment can lead to conflicts with neighbors and legal issues. Environmental measurements are a tool that turns guesses into hard evidence. We provide the data necessary to obtain administrative decisions, design effective acoustic screens, and ensure a "good neighborhood" for your property.

Imagine being able to step into your office, listening room, or lounge and check how music or conversation sounds before the construction team even puts up the first wall. Acoustic simulations are your 'testing ground.' We transfer your project into the virtual world to eliminate noise issues before they become a real (and costly) problem on the construction site.

Acoustics is a field where details make a colossal difference. The wrong glue, shifting a panel by several centimeters, or ignoring an acoustic bridge can ruin the effect of even the best design. At Nyquist, we combine competencies from three worlds: acoustics, architecture, and execution. We offer you our "know-how" in the form of consulting and supervision, so you can be sure that the theory from the design will perfectly translate into practice on the construction site.

While acoustic adaptation takes care of the interior sound, insulation takes care of your privacy and tranquility. It is an engineering art of creating barriers that prevent noise from penetrating between rooms or invading from the outside. Poorly designed insulation is the most common reason for complaints in office buildings and residential structures. At Nyquista, we design partition systems to meet stringent PN-EN standards and guarantee real comfort – without compromising on aesthetics or functionality.

Vibrations are an invisible enemy of buildings. They can originate from outside (passing trams, subways, railway lines) or from inside (operating elevators, generators, power stations). Regardless of the source, the effect is the same: material noise traveling through the structure and the risk of fatigue damage. Designing vibration isolation is the engineering art of cutting off these forces. At Nyquist, we create systems that act like a shock absorber for your investment – protecting the building's structure and the peace of its occupants.

3D visualizations have become the standard – thanks to them you can see the future interior. Auralization is the next step: it’s ‘virtual reality’ for your ears. This advanced technology allows you to transport yourself to the designed room and hear its acoustics before the first team enters the construction site. No more interpreting complicated charts. With auralization, you will experience the sound of the interior in a natural and intuitive way, making design decisions with full awareness of the final effect.

Acoustics is often the element of investment that determines its final reception by users. Mistakes made during the design phase are the most expensive to fix, and legal standards are becoming increasingly stringent. At Nyquist, we don’t keep knowledge locked away. We share our execution and design experience by organizing tailored training sessions. We don’t just read definitions from textbooks – we analyze 'live' case studies, discuss the latest technologies, and translate the complexities of regulations into the language of practical construction.

In today's market, products that are refined in every detail win. Often it is the acoustics – the quiet operation of the device, the tightness of the cabin, or the pleasant sound of materials – that determines whether the customer will choose your solution. At Nyquista, we are not afraid of challenges that others consider "impossible." We act as your external R&D department. We combine sound engineering with industrial design, helping you create a product that not only meets standards but also sets new market benchmarks.
