Acoustic measurements
Specialized measurements of listening rooms
You invested in an audio system the equivalent of a good car. And yet your room allows modal resonances, SBIR (Speaker Boundary Interference Response) from the rear wall, and uncontrolled early side reflections to reach the listening position. Even reference monitors will sound flat and unclear if the room distorts their signal.

Specialized acoustic measurements are not a listening test with your favorite record or a subjective assessment of "how it sounds." They are an uncompromising engineering diagnosis. We provide hard data: impulse response, amplitude-frequency response at the listening position, and a modal map. On this basis, we design exactly as much absorption, diffusion, and bass control as you truly need—no more, no less.
What do we measure and analyze? (Sound engineering in practice)
We do not rely on intuition. We use reference measurement microphones (including Earthworks M50) and reference sound sources (including Genelec 8070A) to examine the "fingerprint" of your room.
Impulse Response (IR):
This is a fundamental parameter. It shows exactly what happens to the signal a fraction of a second after it leaves the loudspeaker. We record every reflection, every resonance, and every time-domain distortion reaching the place where you sit.Frequency Response (Sweet Spot):
Is the 60–120 Hz band unnaturally boosted? Is there a massive "dip" around 2–4 kHz caused by reflection from the console or side wall? Without measurement, you can only guess and swap cables. With measurement, you know exactly where the problem lies.RT60 / T20 / T30 in 1/3-octave bands:
Reverberation time is never a single value. A room may sound ideally "dry" (0.35 s) in the 1 kHz band, while at the same time choking in the bass (0.8 s in the 125 Hz band). This low-frequency "muddiness" is exactly what ruins mixes and listening enjoyment. We know this problem and how to eliminate it.First Reflection Analysis (Early Acoustic Field):
Sounds that reach the ear within up to 50 ms of the direct signal most strongly degrade stereo imaging and "blur" the musical soundstage. We identify the surfaces they reflect from, designing precise point interventions in those locations (absorbers/diffusers), instead of covering the entire room with panels "just in case."Low-Frequency Behavior Assessment (Room Modes):
Room resonances are the biggest challenge in volumes below 100 m³. We map the spatial distribution of low-frequency acoustic pressure, pinpoint problematic frequencies, and select tuned bass traps exactly where they will be effective.
When is acoustic diagnosis a necessity?
Our services are aimed at professionals and uncompromising enthusiasts:
Studio construction or adaptation ("Step Zero"): Measurement in a raw interior allows precise selection and placement of acoustic treatment. You avoid the mistake where an expensive panel hangs where it looks good instead of where it actually works.
Unpredictable monitoring (Translation issues): Do your mixes sound great in the studio but terrible in the car or on a phone? Does the bass boom, then disappear completely when you move your chair by 30 cm? Is the stereo image unstable? It is not your skills or your gear—it is a classic symptom of untreated acoustics.
Broadcast Standards (EBU Tech 3276): Are you producing projects for television or film post-production? We verify room compliance with EBU Tech 3276 guidelines and prepare full documentation confirming that reference criteria are met.
High-End Audio and Home Cinemas: Good speakers in a bad room are wasted potential and wasted money. Professional measurement is an investment that unlocks your system’s full capabilities and pays for itself with every track you listen to.
A report that solves problems
The final result of our work is not a vague "suggestion to add a few panels." You receive a complete engineering report with results (IR, response curves, RT60 in 1/3 oct, time analysis).
We provide an objective assessment of listening conditions, interpretation of anomalies, and—most importantly—a precise adaptation design. We specify exactly: which acoustic treatments to use, with what parameters, in what quantity, and where to install them down to the centimeter.
Specialized measurements of listening rooms

Engineers who have seen the measurements and heard the auralization of their room "before and after" never go back to designing acoustics "by ear". Schedule a measurement and hear the truth about your system.
