Walls and ceilings – your shield against noise

We design systems with enhanced airborne sound insulation (e.g., conversations, music). We do not rely on intuition, but on physics. We select materials, layer configurations, and structural connections so as to minimize sound transmission as much as possible.

The result? A wall that is an impenetrable barrier to noise, while remaining cost-effective and visually optimal.

Floating floors and vibration isolation (Stop for footsteps and vibrations)

Noise is not only what you hear in the air, but also what travels through the building structure (impact sounds).

  • Floating floors: We design layers with appropriate mass and resilience to eliminate the sound of footsteps or moving furniture coming from the floor above.

  • Vibration isolation: In facilities exposed to vibrations (from machinery, ventilation, or the metro), we design damping systems for ceilings and floors. We cut off the path of structural noise at the source.

Analysis that sees the invisible

Before you put up the first wall, we verify that it will work. Every project is preceded by a detailed acoustic analysis, including:

  • Field measurements of ambient acoustic conditions.

  • Computer simulations and code-based calculations.

  • Flanking transmission analysis: This is a key element. Often sound "bypasses" the insulated wall, escaping through the ceiling or ventilation system. We identify these paths and block them.


Installation guidelines – instructions for success
Even the best material will not perform if installed incorrectly. That is why we do not leave you with theory alone. For each project, we provide detailed installation guidelines for the contractor ("Cookbook").

The documentation contains precise instructions regarding:

  • Execution of expansion joints and perimeter insulation in floors.

  • Proper installation of walls, doors, and glazing.

  • Routing of utilities (electrical, ventilation) without creating acoustic bridges.

  • Vibration isolation of technical equipment.

This gives you confidence that the contractor will not make mistakes that would undermine the insulation performance.
