Acoustic probe

Until now, acoustics have relied on hearing and graphs that indicate how much noise penetrates, but rarely where. Traditional measurement methods (based on acoustic pressure) are prone to errors – reflections from walls or background noise can distort results, and a microphone won’t point out the hole in the wall.

NEW

At Nyquist, we are changing the rules of the game. As pioneers in Poland, we utilize advanced intensity probes that allow us to literally visualize sound. We create "heat maps" for noise, precisely indicating the spots where your insulation fails. This is the end of guessing – it's surgical precision.

Precisely locate every leak in the building

Often, a wall that looks great on paper actually lets neighborly conversations through. The culprits can be details: a chiseled area for a socket, a poorly sealed pipe, or a micro-crack in the window. A standard measurement will only show that "there's a problem." Our probe will pinpoint exactly the point where sound penetrates. You get a picture of the wall with a colored leakage map overlay, so you know what to fix without having to tear down all the insulation blindly.

Conduct diagnostics without stopping the factory

This is a revolution for the industry. Traditional measurements of specific machines require silence, meaning costly stops to the entire production line. Our technology is resistant to background noise. The intensity probe "sees" only what it aims at, ignoring the noise from the rest of the hall and reflections from the walls. We can diagnose a single machine running at full plant capacity, indicating which of its components (like a specific bearing or cover) generates excessive noise.

Refine your product to acoustic perfection

Are you a manufacturer of windows, doors, heat pumps, or acoustic booths? Our probe is a powerful tool in the R&D process. Instead of guessing why a prototype does not meet standards, you will see for yourself where the decibels are escaping. This is the fastest way to seal the structure and improve the acoustic class of your product before it hits the market.

Technology that sees more than a microphone

We do not use ordinary acoustic pressure meters. We use a p-u probe that measures the velocity of air particles vectorially (directionally). The device ignores standing waves and sounds coming from the sides, focusing solely on the energy emanating from the tested surface. This gives us a picture of the situation that cannot be obtained with standard methods.

A report that leaves no doubt

After the examination, you receive a complete engineering document. These are not just dry tables but photos of your object or device with overlays of sound intensity maps. We point out critical acoustic bridges and provide specific guidelines on how to eliminate them.

Stop searching blindly. See where silence is escaping.

Replace assumptions with evidence - eliminate noise sources that an ordinary microphone won't detect!
