Rekeep

In an office where many people work simultaneously, acoustics go beyond merely separating workstations. What happens above them is equally important. Daily communication among users generates a significant amount of sound, which, when reflected, can severely disrupt concentration. For this reason, we addressed the acoustics of the ceiling in the ReKeep office in Łódź by implementing EcoCloud acoustic islands.

We designed the light-colored EcoCloud islands to reference the facets and historical division of the ceiling. Subtle embossing emphasizes the classic character of the entire interior. The thin cables from which they are suspended maintain a sense of visual lightness, despite the impressive size of the islands.

The acoustic systems were positioned directly above the workstations. Their purpose is to reduce sound reflections from the ceiling, which otherwise amplify excessive reverberation in the open space.
