Radisson Blu Sopot

In conference and performance halls, a balance between absorption and diffusion is key to reducing excessive reverberation while maintaining the natural acoustics of the space. On such a scale, sound absorption alone is insufficient.

On the hotel wall surfaces, we have combined materials and structures with different acoustic properties. The composition is built on the premise of achieving the most optimal sound conditions in a multifunctional hotel space.

The entire setup relies on a balance between sound absorption and reflection. Each element has a completely different task; finished with a light fabric, the NyquiTiles are responsible for absorbing sound and reducing excessive reverberation. WoodenTiles work differently. The wooden surface reflects sound, preventing the interior from becoming overly dampened, while the perforated WoodenTiles are modules specifically tuned to the frequency of speech.

The seaside hotel is located just a few steps from the beach. An important part of the facility is an extensive conference and event center: 15 rooms and approximately 2000 m² of multifunctional space designed for business meetings, conferences, banquets, and larger events.
