Acoustics are unforgiving, regardless of the price of the speakers. Echo is blind to brand prestige, and reverberation makes no exceptions, not even for Italian design. Therefore, even the most meticulously engineered audio system will fail to deliver its full potential if all that craftsmanship is placed in a room that compromises the listening experience.

On June 23, we had the pleasure of participating in the Polish premiere of the Sonus Faber Olympica G3 speakers. The event was organized in the beautiful interiors of the Hotel Bellotto by Horn Distribution in cooperation with the Sonus faber brand. The invited guests were among the first in Europe to hear the latest designs from the Italian manufacturer.

Perfect sound deserves the best space

For the needs of the Warsaw premiere, Nyquista ensured proper acoustic treatment, utilizing EcoWall Fold acoustic screens. Designed specifically for spaces that change as rapidly as needs do. They fold, unfold, move, and adapt to almost any arrangement. However, the list of their benefits does not end there, as our Folds can be customized virtually without limits.

The presence of mobile walls at the Sonus faber event directly contributed to smoothing out the frequency response and reverberation time in the room, and thus to a better reception of the presentation. During the listening session, the treatment enabled all attendees to fully appreciate the sonic qualities of the new speakers. Thanks to the listening room properly prepared by us, the event participants could focus solely on the naturalness, spaciousness, and musicality of the Olympica G3 sound.

For exceptional listeners

The premiere gathered journalists and distributors who can discuss sound, hi-fi equipment, and listening nuances for hours. The Olympica III G3 focuses on naturalness. The sound of the speakers is also more spacious and detailed compared to the previous generation. The midrange captivates with the timbre and tangibility of vocals, the highs remain velvety and refined, and the bass goes low while maintaining excellent control and dynamics.

The event was also graced by the presence of Sonus faber representatives: Michael Magnutzki and Roberto Gamba. The event culminated in a concert by Marek Napiórkowski, whose guitar interpretations of well-known standards perfectly matched the atmosphere of the event and the philosophy of the Italian brand.

Our impact on the reception of music

Nyquista was represented by Andrzej Kmiecik and Marcin Rosak. Thank you for your trust and we are delighted to have contributed to the setting of this unique premiere.

The best audio systems can delight, but well-prepared acoustics ensure that they can truly be heard!
