Vibration isolation design

Vibration isolation design involves the development of systems that limit the transmission of vibrations within the building structure and between technological devices. These vibrations can originate from external sources — such as railway traffic, urban transportation, or the operation of machines in neighboring buildings — as well as from installations located within the building itself.

Design Scope

As part of the development, we perform:

  • analysis of vibration sources and the directions of their transmission,

  • selection of vibration isolation materials with appropriate dynamic elasticity parameters,

  • design of vibration isolation systems for ceilings, floors, and machines,

  • development of connection detail limiting the transmission of vibration energy,

  • resonance analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of the proposed solutions.

Systems and Solutions

We design complex vibration isolation systems including:

  • floating vibration isolation floors,

  • flexible supports for steel structures and machines,

  • decoupled foundations for technological devices,

  • acoustic-vibrational insulation for ventilation ducts and HVAC units.

Each solution is tailored individually – taking into account the type of vibrations, mass of the structure, frequency of excitation, and operating conditions of the facility.

Installation Guidelines and Control Measurements

The vibration isolation project is complemented by detailed executive guidelines and recommendations for quality control of the installation. After completing the work, we conduct measurements of vibration attenuation effectiveness, which confirm the correctness of the adopted solutions.

As a result, the investor receives not only the project documentation but also a complete verification of the system's operation in real operating conditions.

Why is it important?

Excessive vibrations in the building structure can lead to cracking of plaster, loosening of structural joints, and even worsen the comfort of users. In industrial facilities, they can affect the precision of machine operation, while in residential buildings – the well-being of the residents.

Professionally designed vibration isolation minimizes these risks, ensuring structural stability, longer device lifespan, and full acoustic comfort for users.

Vibration isolation designed for the comfort of users and the durability of the structure.
