Acoustic measurements
Conducting acoustic measurements allows for the precise determination of the sound parameters of spaces and the effectiveness of the sound insulation of building partitions. They enable the localization of noise sources, the assessment of acoustic comfort of interiors, and the verification of the effectiveness of implemented solutions. The measurement results provide a solid foundation for designing and implementing solutions to improve acoustics – both in new buildings and during the modernization of existing spaces.

What are acoustic measurements?
Acoustic measurements are engineering studies aimed at assessing the acoustic conditions inside rooms. They allow for the determination of the actual sound parameters of interiors, such as reverberation time, acoustic insulation of partitions, and background noise levels. Thanks to them, it is possible to assess the acoustic comfort of users, verify the effectiveness of the applied design solutions, and select appropriate means to improve the acoustics of rooms.
These studies are conducted in offices, conference rooms, public utility buildings, recording studios, schools, and other spaces where sound quality and comfort of use are important.
What do acoustic measurements include?
During the audit, the following are checked, among others:
Reverberation time in the room (RT30/RT60)
Acoustic insulation of partitions against airborne sounds
Acoustic insulation against impact sounds from ceilings
Speech transmission index (STI)
Noise levels in work and utility rooms
What is the purpose of carrying out acoustic measurements?
Inadequate acoustic conditions – both inside rooms and in their surroundings – can negatively affect user comfort, work efficiency, and overall well-being. Excessively high noise levels, overly long reverberation, or low partition insulation are problems that can be precisely diagnosed through professional acoustic measurements.
These studies allow for the determination of the real acoustic parameters of rooms and buildings, and then the selection of effective solutions to improve user comfort, acoustic safety, and compliance with applicable standards. Thanks to the measurements, it is possible to verify the effectiveness of the applied noise protection measures, assess the impact of introduced design changes, and confirm the quality of acoustic insulation execution.
Acoustic measurements are essential both in new building projects and during the modernization of existing spaces – everywhere where acoustics play a significant role in functionality and user comfort.
How do we carry out measurements?
Measurements are carried out in accordance with the applicable PN and ISO standards, using calibrated Class 1 equipment. Each study concludes with the preparation of a detailed report containing analysis, interpretation of results, and design recommendations.
As a result, the investor receives not only measurement data but also practical guidelines for further actions improving acoustics.
