Sound insulation
While acoustic adaptation takes care of the interior sound, insulation takes care of your privacy and tranquility. It is an engineering art of creating barriers that prevent noise from penetrating between rooms or invading from the outside. Poorly designed insulation is the most common reason for complaints in office buildings and residential structures. At Nyquista, we design partition systems to meet stringent PN-EN standards and guarantee real comfort – without compromising on aesthetics or functionality.

Walls and Ceilings – Your Shield Against Noise
We design systems with enhanced sound insulation from airborne noises (e.g., conversations, music). We do not rely on intuition, but on physics. We select materials, layer arrangements, and connections to minimize sound transmission as much as possible.
The result? A wall that acts as an impenetrable barrier against noise while remaining cost-effective and visually appealing.
Floating Floors and Vibration Isolation (Stop for Steps and Vibrations)
Noise is not just what you hear in the air, but also what transmits through the building structure (impact sounds).
Floating Floors: We design layers with appropriate mass and elasticity to eliminate the sound of footsteps or moving furniture coming from the floor above.
Vibration Isolation: In buildings exposed to vibrations (from machines, ventilation, or the subway), we design damping systems for ceilings and floors. We cut off the structural noise at its source.
Analysis That Sees the Invisible
Before you put up the first wall, we check if it will work. Every project is preceded by a detailed acoustic analysis including:
Field measurements of the acoustic background.
Computer simulations and normative calculations.
Lateral Transmission Analysis: This is a key element. Often, sound "bypasses" the insulated wall, escaping through the ceiling or ventilation. We identify these paths and block them.
Installation Guidelines – The Recipe for Success
Even the best material won't work if it is poorly installed. That’s why we don’t leave you with just theory. For each project, we provide detailed installation guidelines for contractors ("Cookbook").
The documentation includes precise instructions on:
Performing expansion joints and edge insulation in floors.
Seamless installation of walls, doors, and glazing.
Running installations (electricity, ventilation) without creating acoustic bridges.
Vibration isolation of technical devices.
This ensures that the contractor will not make mistakes that would compromise the insulation effect.
