Change of Subject
The café Zmiana tematu was designed by the collective studio xm3. It is located in a 19th-century building on Piotrkowska Street in Łódź. The walls and ceiling of the interior are made of light wood in the form of vertical ribs. The panels are arranged in three-dimensional, smoothly transitioning wavy patterns.
The interior decoration is complemented by smooth glass tables and minimalist lighting. The wooden structure is illuminated by colorful LED lights, which give the space even greater depth. The wooden elements on the walls and ceiling serve not only a decorative function but also an acoustic one. By dispersing sound, they reduce reverberation time and increase the clarity of music.
