The POLITYKA weekly is a brand that has been setting the standards of Polish journalism for decades. Known for its in-depth analysis and intelligent commentary, it remains one of the most important sources of information about the world of politics, society, and culture. Alongside the print edition, POLITYKA successfully develops modern digital channels, thus building a media space tailored to the needs of the most demanding recipients. It is an editorial office where reliable information and the way it is discussed are valued.

Key to designing the recording studio, according to the client's vision, was the use of wooden elements. The space created meets the highest acoustic standards, and its design impresses us, the employees, and the guests of the POLITYKA weekly. Iconic EcoCloud islands hang from the ceiling, effectively reducing echo and giving clarity to the sound in the space. The walls tell a story of varied surfaces that collectively create a controlled sound environment while also serving as an aesthetic backdrop for the camera. We built the studio using WoodenWall – a wooden, perforated wall and WoodenBaffle, integrated with it, a proposal for wooden slats that support sound absorption in the upper areas of the room, particularly important for recordings. The whole is complemented by EcoWall and acoustic curtains, perfect when the interior needs softness and visual depth. The logos made from lacquered MDF board are the cherry on top of this project’s realization.

The studio has been equipped with ergonomic furniture, modern recording equipment, and a studio lighting system – all to create an environment conducive to calm, focused conversation and the best audio-visual experience.
