Private listening room - Grudziądz
The listening room in Grudziądz was to be designed with the idea of listening to hi-end audio equipment. Therefore, we decided to approach the topic uncompromisingly. In designing the room, we were inspired by the concert hall of the Philharmonic in Szczecin.
On the walls, we used directional panels with a veneered front made of black MDF, positioned at various angles. The panels were made in two variants – absorbing and diffusing. In some of them, we made additional perforations. On the ceiling, we used Omnidirectional diffusing panels that echoed the shape of the wall panels. Both in the ceiling bracket and in the corners of the room, we hid tuned bass traps. The back wall was covered with the NyquiWall masking system, under which there were broadband bass traps and membrane structures. At the client's request, we also designed a shelf for vinyl records, whose shape limits the impact of standing waves in the room. The whole is complemented by discreet LED lighting and automatic control.
