Orzo Aioli

In the Aioli (Orzo) restaurant located at Constitution Square in Warsaw, there was a problem with low ceiling insulation, which resulted in noise penetrating into the residential units located on the upper floors. The restaurant underwent a thorough renovation. The upper layers of the ceiling were removed, and the gaps in the walls and ceiling were sealed.

We also eliminated acoustic bridges in the form of built-in sanitary, electrical, and sewage installations in the ceiling. The ventilation ducts have been insulated from the inside and outside using special mats, collars, and acoustic silencers. We applied a multilayer insulation system throughout the ceiling based on NyquiBoard panels, mineral wool, SoundBlock underlay, and gypsum-fiber boards. All installations suspended from the ceiling were placed on a vibration isolation pad. Thanks to these measures, we managed to completely eliminate troublesome noise penetrating to neighbors through the building's structure.
