When designing the listening room, our primary focus was on improving sound insulation so that noise would not penetrate into neighboring spaces. The walls were insulated with a multilayer Nyquifix Pro system, featuring a double layer of fiberboard and gypsum board, as well as a heavy SoundBlock membrane. The ceiling structure made of acoustic panels serves both the function of insulation and bass traps. In the front corners and the rear part of the room, additional membrane structures tuned to low frequencies are located.

Most of the acoustic adaptation of the listening room has been concealed with a stretch fabric system – NyquiWall. For this purpose, we used two acoustically transparent fabrics – a light and a dark one. We aimed to maintain a balance between absorption and diffusion, which is why, in addition to absorbers and perforated structures, Skyline diffusers were placed behind the fabrics. On the front wall, we placed 1D diffusers arranged alternately in both directions. On the ceiling, we used high-frequency Omnibounce diffusers, painted white. Thanks to these measures, the sound spreads evenly throughout the listening room. As a complement, we installed FiberColor Fugue panels on the side walls, covered with a decorative layer of velvet.

On the back wall, instead of a single-colored fabric, we decided to use printed fabric for the NyquiWall system. The specially prepared graphic enlivens the interior and gives it a unique character.
