Mission
We aim to promote good acoustic conditions not only in places like recording studios or cinemas but also in everyday work environments. By collaborating with various investors and architects, we support them in projects and issues related to acoustics. All this is to ensure the highest comfort and functionality of the given space.
Vision
Acoustic panels are created with a specific object in mind. An individual approach to each project is the philosophy of our operation. Every stage is equally important – starting from the overall concept and ending with the planning of the smallest details. From the main architects and acousticians at the forefront to the production staff and fitters. Everyone in our team plays an important role and is valued for their contribution.
History
The company Nyquista Acoustic Design was established in 2011 out of a passion for sound and design. Its founder is Jerzy Herse, a lover of home cinema and modern design, who along with his school friend, Jakub Grzesiuk – a production engineer, decided to combine the world of acoustics with the aesthetics of contemporary interiors.
The company's name refers to the surname of Harry Nyquist, a Swedish inventor from the 19th century, who created the foundations of modern sampling theory and the criterion for the stability of sound frequency waveforms. Just as the Nyquist formula describes an ideal sine wave, so our company's goal from the very beginning has been to strive for perfection in sound and form.
The first prototypes of acoustic panels were created in a small garage in Sulejówek. The founders started by designing their own home cinema and then realized projects for friends and acquaintances. Initially, the company focused on individual clients – creating private cinemas, listening rooms, and small recording studios.
Over time, Jerzy Herse's innovative projects gained recognition, and the Nyquista brand began to undertake larger contracts – for offices, commercial cinemas, public spaces, music clubs, restaurants, radio and recording studios. Soon, the demand for aesthetically pleasing and effective acoustic products greatly exceeded the capabilities of a small two-person company.
Today, Nyquista Acoustic Design employs several dozen people and has completed over 1000 projects throughout Poland. The company specializes in the production, sale, and distribution of acoustic panels and cladding. In recent years, it has introduced over 500 proprietary solutions for sound insulation and acoustic adaptation into mass production.
Currently, Nyquista is a leader among manufacturers of acoustic systems and cladding, as well as insulation and vibration isolation systems in Central Europe. Our products are used in offices, conference rooms, cinemas, film and recording studios, concert halls, hotels, restaurants, industrial halls, and other public utility buildings.
