In such a vast space as the Orion Hall undoubtedly is, mastering the reverberation and organizing sound reflections, which can easily accumulate, was crucial.

In the implementation, we used over 400 EcoCloud ceiling islands. Their classic shape and black color effectively reduce reverberation while fitting well into the technical character of the event space. The strategic placement of the panels throughout the volume of the hall allowed for the most optimal acoustic conditions – both during concerts and stage events or galas.

EcoCloud is made from high-quality sound-absorbing PET material, which absorbs some of the sound energy and helps organize the acoustics in such a large space. At the same time, they serve a visual function – suspended under the roof structure, they create a rhythmic arrangement that organizes the ceiling and gives the interior a modern, orderly character.

As a result, the acoustic adaptation remains almost invisible to event participants, but it has a real impact on the sound perception comfort throughout the hall.
