Home theater in the basement
The enclosed space and natural isolation are conducive to sound work, which is why this project was created there. The client dreamed of a professional home theater, and the room in the basement turned out to be the perfect starting point for that.

We largely finished the interior using adorned, wooden panels WoodenWall. Their construction allows them to absorb selected frequency ranges, keeping the sound natural. The perforated surface combined with the hidden absorbing material reduces echo and improves the clarity of dialogues, which is crucial in a home theater. Additional absorption is provided by Dune foam panels.
In the corners, we installed bass traps with wooden fronts. This keeps the bass controlled, without the booming typical of small rooms. The wooden fronts make these elements an integral part of the wall arrangement.
Ceiling diffusers Omnibonuce play an important role in evenly distributing sound energy in the room. Thanks to them, the sound stage is wider, and the listening experience remains comfortable in a larger part of the room.
The design coherence is complemented by door casing, which allowed us to avoid a hard, reflective surface in a critical area of the wall. This allows the whole adaptation to function evenly, without points causing uncontrolled reflections.
We took care of the image and sound in the cinema room by selecting an appropriate sound system, a frame screen, and a projector. The whole setup is equipped with LED lighting and side sconces, which together create a cinematic atmosphere for screenings.
