We started designing the recording studio with acoustic measurements and a broad analysis that considered both the improvement of insulation and the appropriate acoustic adaptation of the interiors.

The first step was to increase the acoustic insulation of the partitions. We replaced the windows and doors, filled in construction gaps in the walls and floor, and installed a floating floor throughout the studio. Additional insulation reinforcement was provided by the Nyquifix Pro system, used on the walls as an independent structure to improve sound damping between rooms. Despite this, due to insufficient insulation of the partition between the control room and the live room, we decided to seal the window. This significantly improved the acoustic separation between the rooms, and in the place of the old window, we installed video monitoring.

The acoustic adaptation was based on several types of devices operating in different frequency ranges. Square Fugue panels appeared on the walls. Their geometric arrangement and contrasting colors introduce a distinct visual character to the studio space. We also strategically utilized the space under the slopes to construct membrane bass traps. Both the bass traps and some of the wall devices were hidden under the NyquiWall tensioned wall system.

In the control room, the ceiling also plays an important role. Here, there was no shortage of the EcoCloud ceiling island and the Skyline 2 diffusers. The task of the latter is to disperse the energy of reflections and widen the listening stage. This directly translates to more natural working conditions during mixing.
