In the case of this project, before any work was planned, we had the opportunity to conduct an acoustic analysis of the room. The plaster on the walls, the floor screed – contrary to appearances, this is the best time to conduct the first acoustic analysis.

As expected – acoustic measurements revealed significant shortcomings in the lowest frequencies of the room and too long reverberation of all significant frequencies within the range of human hearing. Our goal became to fully tame the low frequencies, equalize the room's sound characteristics, and create a timeless, cohesive aesthetic that remains relevant regardless of changing trends.

The basis for the adaptation became a comprehensive design of the ceiling slopes. The applied diffusers and scattering elements effectively eliminate unfavorable reflections that often lead to a narrowing of the stage and loss of sound clarity in such interiors. The dispersion of acoustic energy in the upper part of the room allowed for greater spaciousness and naturalness of sound, especially in the range of mid and high frequencies.

The side walls and areas around the windows were supplemented with absorbing panels, which aim to control the first reflections and reduce excessive reverberation. The dark color scheme further supports concentration by minimizing light reflections and building a cinematic character of the interior.

The project was executed based on the most rigorous acoustic standards used in the design of cinema and listening rooms. Every element of the space was subordinated to sound quality, precision of sound, and acoustic control. At the same time, a unique design was created based on tailor-made acoustic solutions that, while meeting technical requirements, perfectly fit the aesthetic expectations of the investor, creating a coherent and timeless whole.
