THIS IS NOT IT EITHER: Cineline - QC cinema hall

Post-production of image and sound in feature films, documentaries, or commercials is a separate universe in the world of filmmaking. Controlling every detail requires the highest quality solutions in the field of acoustics. To capture nuances in the "final stretch" before the premiere, we created a cinema for the company Cineline.

The key element of interior architecture such as a cinema is undeniably acoustics. The application of the NyquiWall system here ensures effective acoustic insulation and full control over sound energy in the room. The elimination of unwanted noise infiltration and disturbances from the outside has enabled the creation of a completely predictable environment, where listening occurs under identical conditions every time.

The shaping of the acoustic field inside is primarily done by 2D WoodShroeder diffusers. Their task is to evenly disperse sound waves in many directions. Variable depths and widths of the wells cause reflections at different angles and at different times, resulting in a natural, spatial sound. A dedicated diffuser enhances sound clarity, eliminates flutter echo, and widens the listening point. WoodSchroeder is a solution created for those seeking the highest quality sound. Its design is based on the mathematical model of the quadratic residue of Manfred R. Schroeder.

Visually, the cinema's interior is kept in subdued colors. Matte surfaces and the limitation of light reflections promote work with the image. The lighting provides comfort for technical work while not interfering with the perception of the projection.

The QC Cineline cinema hall is a space where a reliable verification of the DCP and the final quality control is possible, allowing creators to be sure that their project will sound exactly as planned.
