Yes. The number and type of individual acoustic panels should be selected individually for each room on the basis of appropriate calculations and acoustic measurements. Incompetent adaptation can be counterproductive. For example, by using homogeneous acoustic panels throughout the room, we will only act on a specific frequency band in which a given panel works most effectively. This can make it muffled in relation to the rest, which will increase the sonic imbalance instead of reducing it.

Yes. We offer a special masking system (Nyquiwall) that allows you to hide acoustic panels or speakers under a tight fabric. The whole thing looks like a smooth wall (or ceiling), so we don't have to worry about a radical change in the interior design. Bass traps can also be made as part of a suspended ceiling or a corner building of a room. Regardless of the type of acoustic panels, we try to design the space so that it constitutes an integral and aesthetic whole.

If we have a choice of a dedicated room or living room - of course, the first option will be much better. The advantages of an independent room include the possibility of complete acoustic adaptation, optimal sound, adequate darkening of the image, or isolation from the rest of the house. Often, however, our entertainment center is the living room. Also in this case, we can design a cinema or a listening room. It is a more difficult task, requiring some compromises, but it is quite feasible.

Yes. However, it should be remembered that absorbing and diffusing acoustic panels and bass traps are used to improve the acoustic conditions inside the room itself. However, they do not significantly affect the transmission of noise to adjacent rooms. The noise level depends mainly on the materials from which the walls, floor, ceiling are made and the building structure itself. We use completely different materials for the acoustic insulation of the partitions than for the interior adaptation. When it comes to insulation, it is always advisable to consult an acoustician.

Yes. However, this requires some compromises. We have more sound sources in the cinema room (5.1; 7.1; 7.2.4 system), therefore we need more damping and shorter reverberation time. In turn, for listening to music in stereo, we need a "livelier" room with a more natural sound. In addition to the smaller number of absorbing acoustic panels, we have to use diffusing panels. Therefore, before making the project, it is necessary to determine how often we will use both systems and adapt the appropriate acoustic panels to it.

Jeżeli mamy taką możliwość to warto zaplanować pomieszczenie stereo/ salę kinową już na etapie projektowania domu. Możemy wtedy dobrać odpowiednie wymiary i proporcje pomieszczenia, sposób wykonania ścian, stropów, zaplanować pułapki basowe, odpowiednią izolację akustyczną czy instalację audio-video. Zazwyczaj jednak dysponujemy już jakimś pomieszczeniem, które chcemy zaadaptować. W takim przypadku powinniśmy zadbać o odpowiedni projekt akustyczny, tak aby odpowiednio wykorzystać posiadaną przestrzeń.
